  1. READ ME FIRST - PRINT SAMPLES

  4. This disk contains print samples that you can launch and print as a means of demonstrating Apple's new printers, the Apple® StyleWriter®, and the Apple Personal LaserWriter® LS.  Each file was created in MacWrite II.  The images used are PICT file images.  After ensuring you are well connected to your new printer, and your chooser has selected the appropriate new printer, all you need to do is simply launch the file of your choice and go to the file menue and select print.

Please ensure that the Apple Macintosh® you are using has the following installed:  System 6.07 - must have in order to run the new printers, Printer installation software, and printing tools for either printer you are using, along with TrueType™.  Ensure that you have MacWrite II installed on your system, along with Time 12, 24 and 36 font sizes.  The Apple Personal LaserWriter LS print sample will take approximately 2 minutes and 15 seconds to print when printing from a Macintosh® Classic.  The Apple StyleWriter print sample will take approximately 3 minutes and 50 seconds to print from a Macintosh Classic.

  10. In order to speed up the print time, we suggest that you print from either a Macintosh LC, or a IIsi.  Of course, this all depends on your needs and the needs of your customer.

  12. Load your printer with paper and you are ready to go!  Happy Printing.
